Tough is also a good feat to pick up survivability. Level 6 either pump up your STR and CON or consider the lucky feat to ensure more hits (or prevent hits against you). Once per round you can reroll the damage from a hit and take the higher of the two (with great weapon fighter you get to reroll all of the 1s and 2d in both sets) Level 4 pick up the savage attacker feat. Level 3 take battle master and grab precision strike (to offset the -5 with an extra d8 rolled on your attack). Also before your attack you can take a -5 to attack bonus and if you hit you get +10 damage. The feat allows you to make an additional attack for a bonus action if you crit or kill an enemy. Level 1 take greatweapon master feat and greatweapon fighting for fighting style. Pick up a greatsword (2d6 slash) and heavy armor.
